I like to think that nature is a woman,

Her face is covered up with beauty,

Different colours make up who she is.

Her voice ,

Tender to my ears,

Songs sang by song birds,

Sipping through my mind as I awake.

Her breast ever resting ,

Well shaped like the mount Everest,

Killing you softly with sips of goodness

Love so narrow

Like the Kilimanjaro.

I like to think that nature is a woman,

Embracing her stretch marks,

Streams leading to great cities ,

Cities filled with treasures.

Men yearn to visit and pirates possess,

Oceans,

Vast like long hands stretched out to hold a broken child,

Nurturing .

I like to think that nature is a woman,

A smile so wide ,

Rivers and lakes flowing .

Laughter that calms your nerves,

Waterfalls that never dry out.

I like to think that nature is a woman,

Her anger ,

Storms that express her grief

But never lasting,

Brief!

Over clouded by her tender heart,

Blue skies and rainbows of love.

Motherly,

Holding us up,

Giving us love ,

Grains growning ,

Being a shoulder to lean on.

I like to think that nature is a woman,

Forgiving ,

Loving us ,

Even after we break her legs,

Cutting trees

For our own personal benefit,

Why are we so selfish?

I like to think that nature is a woman,

Beautiful,

Well dressed with different shades of melanin,

Perfumed with orchids and roses,

Ever present scents.

A woman yearning to be kept ,

A woman craving for love ,

Striving to be respected,

Calm and collected ,

Her voice sweet enough to be heard.

I like to think that nature is a woman,

Down on her knees ,

Begging us

“Please! Enough of this domestic violence.”
